I cannot recommend Sharad and Nature Safari any stronger. The service was fantastic. Everything was planned out for me. They made me feel so comfortable as a single traveler in a country I have never traveled to previously. The accommodations were great and the parks and animal sightings were something you could only dream of. Could not recommend this trip enough and this company. This trip truly exceeded my expectations which I did not know was possible. Thanks Sharad. I will definitely be back in the future.

An amazing and memorable safari. My wife and I took a 10 day/11-night safari titled “Just Tigers” with Nature Safari India in the first half of May 2022. In spite of the scorching temperatures, we chose this time of the year because tiger sightings are easier in the summer when animals stay near water holes. We traveled to three tiger reserves, Pench, Kanha and Bandhavgarh on this trip, doing a total of 17 morning/evening safaris in open 4-wheel drive vehicles. Nature Safari India made the whole trip seamless, transporting us between locations in air-conditioned cars, providing for comfortable stays...

An Epic Journey to India with Tiger Safari India We set up a custom trip through Tiger Safari India/Nature Safari India. It was just short of a month, with tiger safaris that went to four national parks and culture/history stops in New Delhi, Varanasi, Jaipur & Agra. It was an epic journey. We are photographers and Sharad was able to cater to this by getting us private trucks and also going to locations at sunrise/sunset, etc. This is so important if you want stunning images and less crowds....

Great experience at Ranthambore National Park I arranged for a tiger safari at Ranthambore with Nature Safaris from May 14 to 18. The experience was great. Of the 8 safaris arranged, i was fortunate to have 7 tiger sightings. There were plenty of other animals to see too like the Indian gazelle, Sambar deer, mongoose, wild hare and plenty of bird species. I was even lucky enough to see a Sloth bear and leopard. Planning and arrangements wise, Operations Manager Deepkul did a great job with prompt responses and smooth arrangements.

Amazing 15 day wildlife tour in India. My family just completed a 15 day Tiger and Rhino Tour with Nature Safari India and it was perfect. We visited 4 parks, 3 in central India (Satpura, Pench and Todoba) and 1 in North-east (Kaziranga). They planned our complete stay with domestic flights, drivers to/between the parks, great accommodation and food and, not least, the safaris themselves and everything worked exceptionally well. While we were there the called us regularly to ensure we were happy and that was as expected We are planning another wildlife trip and we will for sure use Nature Safari India again.

Bandhavgarh National Park has a history of being called by several names; some call it “The Temple of the Tiger after the famous documentary by Harry Marshall. Some have christened Bandhavgarh as the “Fort of the Tiger”, because of the presence of the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort. This Fort is about two thousand years old. Lot of Kingdoms, like the Maghas, Vakatakas, and Chandel Kings have ruled this Fort over the past few centuries. They all left a deep footprint in the area, but somehow, they could not survive the changing times. But one King who was present before the humans laid their foot on this pristine land, and still roams free in his Kingdom…is the Tiger. He protects his Kingdom selflessly and fiercely. The whole geography of the area around them has changed, but one thing that has not is his determination to never give up against adversities. They have adapted well to the changing times.

Today when he walks in his Kingdom, the convoy of tourist vehicles follow his majesty. When he sits on the dirt tracks in the forest, everything around stands still except the camera shutter. When he sleeps in the bush or lazes in the water, they all patiently await to wake up to catch his glimpse. Such is his aura today in Bandhavgarh. His glory has only expanded over the centuries as we all now know his importance to the environment.

Bandhavgarh is one forest that makes all the visitors fall in love with it. A few years back some old inhabitants of Bandhavgarh, the Indian Gaur were shifted to Bandhavgarh from Kanha after they left Bandhavgarh for some mysterious reasons in 1997. Their numbers have grown significantly. Similarly, a herd of elephants came to Bandhavgarh from the neighboring state and have stayed put for over five years now. Following them, another smaller herd of their community came and made Bandhavgarh their new home. Some people who visited Bandhavgarh as tourists also fell in love with the place and have chosen to spend their lives here. Many visitors who come on tiger safaris in Bandhavgarh dedicated themselves to tiger conservation. Such is the charisma of the tigers of Bandhavgarh.

The only thing that is more beautiful than the tigresses of Bandhavgarh is their cubs. The tigresses so proudly show them off that one cannot help but fall in love with them, and come back again and again on tiger safaris in Bandhavgarh to see them grow.
