Sharad is a qualified hotelier. He started his career with Asia’a largest Hotel group, ‘The Taj Group of Hotels’. It was here that he met his wildlife guru, Shri Divyabhanu Sinh Chavda. Sharad saw his first Tiger in the wild at an impressionable age of 22 years. That sightings in Ranthambhore gave him many sleepless nights. The Tiger kept coming in his dreams, and that happens even today.

Naturalist
Born in 1980 in Tala village which is the hotspot for Tiger tourism in India. He saw his first Tiger when he was only 7 years old. Tigers were seen either on elephant backs or from a Machan. The department would tie a bait, close to the Machan, and people were invited to see the Tigers on the kill. Over the years his interest in the Jungle increased, and he could not wait to turn 18 to drive in Bandhavgarh.

If ever there will be a list made of naturalists in India who know their respective park the best, Jagat’s name will be atop in Bandhavgarh by a few miles. His encounters with the wild began rather early in life. Born inside the Bandhavgarh national park he walked to his school a few miles through the forest daily till 1993. During these times he even understood the jungle lore well.
